And now regarding the Ukraine, a note from Deborah Tomasello:

The Croton Gab and Knit group (comprising knitters, crocheters and needlepointers), in a show of solidarity and support for Ukraine, is working on an environmental decorating installation. Work begins Sunday, March 20, 2022 at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church on Old Post Rd. in Croton. We will be installing handknit and crocheted items in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. (Initial pic shown BELOW).

In coming days, we plan to expand the exhibit to other public places, beginning with The Black Cow in Croton.

 

We invite other crafters to donate suitable, hand-worked items in yellow and blue acrylic yarns. 

 

Flyers listing places for donations to the Ukraine relief effort will be made available.
