DOBBS FERRY REVITALIZATION PLANS DO NOT INCLUDE APARTMENTS, SEEK TO CREATE A "HARBOR OF COMMERCE" & MAKE VILLAGE A DESTINATION

--A year’s worth of sur­veys and tes­ti­mo­ni­als on how to in­vig­o­rate down­town Dobbs Ferry was pre­sented to the Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees in mid-May.....

--Raven David, Co­or­di­na­tor of the Dobbs Ferry Down­town Im­prove­ment Task Force, high­lighted the salient points culled from 929 ques­tion­naires filled out by res­i­dents and busi­ness own­ers.....

--Not sur­pris­ing, park­ing and traf­fic flow was a top pri­or­ity for res­i­dents and small busi­ness own­ers.....

--More spe­cialty shops and fam­ily-owned restau­rants were also high on the list, along with en­hanc­ing the down­town’s walk­a­bil­ity. Beau­ti­fi­ca­tion would en­tail build­ing more green spaces, more trees, side­walk planters, benches and gath­er­ing spaces.   3. What? No affordable apartments for "Dobbs Ferry people". They need to come to Croton and get woke!
