ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE VILLAGE Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2019, 11:27:07 AM EDT--Last evening, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson posted the results from the recent zoning survey on the Village website, www.crotononhudson-ny.gov and sent out a blast email containing a link to the results on the website. As part of posted results, your email address was inadvertently included in the 150-page raw survey data document. The amount of time that this data was publicly available was approximately 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM. The emails were listed separately from all other survey responses and comments in the last 12 pages of the 150-page document, and not associated with any other personal identifiable information, such as your name. The Village sincerely regrets this breach of data and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

  1. Regarding this survey, your editor has been asked how the village confirmed that those answering this survey were actual village taxpaying residents of Croton itself (and not just the school district).

Answer: I don't think they did verify--and simply asked the question. But you should address this directly to the village board/staff at https://www.crotononhudson-ny.gov/
