Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

REPORT, CROTON LIONS, PROCEEDS FROM THE 2017 CHRISTMAS TREE SALE--courtesy of Croton Lion Don Daubney...After expenses, the sale raised a little over &17,000.  We are grateful to all who came to purchase a tree from us. It was a new supplier due to the retirement of our former supplier. We obviously did not order enough of the larger trees as we sold those out very quickly and had to turn away about 40 people who wanted a really big tree. Next year we will be ordering more in this size range. We sold 600 trees in just 3 weeks.

Locally this has been the big fund raiser for the club for over 60 years. All money made by the club goes back into the community. We give college scholarships to C.H.H.S. graduates every year. We support a little league team, the Croton Caring Committee, the Croton Blood Bank, and Guiding Eyes for the Blind, as well as the International Lions, who this year raised significant monies for the hurricane victims, just to name a few.

  2. They probably had a really good year now that Cookie is closed. We used to rotate, one year Lions, the next Cookie. We ended up at Hilltop, got a nice tree and they had entertainment for the kids. Next year, back to the Lions, their turn. The kids will definitely be past believing in Santa.
