AN UPDATE ON BUNGALOW ROAD FROM TRUSTEE KEN WALSH

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

AN UPDATE ON BUNGALOW ROAD FROM TRUSTEE KEN WALSH

Dear Croton Residents,

During the campaign, I promised to listen to the residents. I listened to the Bungalow Road residents on the campaign trail. I worked with those residents, CPD and the village board to develop a solution to try and make it safer for our residents who walk on Bungalow Road while cars are driving around the blind curve. The solution of putting up caution signs for cars to be aware of the blind curve when they were driving down Radnor as the road turned into Bungalow Road was implemented. After the solution was implemented, I followed up with the residents and unfortunately they saw no increase in safety. I then worked with the Bungalow Road residents, Janine King and CPD on a new solution to put a stop sign on Radnor/Bungalow at the intersection of Ridge Road. This should make it safer for our residents who walk down Bungalow Road because cars will have to stop just before they go around the blind curve. The residents that I spoke with seem very happy that this new solution was approved and they are looking forward to the stop sign being installed soon.
