Food Network's NYC Wine & Food Festival
Founder, Samantha Eichenberg, to Present Custom,
Sports-Themed Desserts at NY Jets + Chefs Event Oct. 18
Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10/9/14: Local Pastry
Chef and owner of THE DESSERTIST, Samantha Eichenberg, will be recognized as a
featured chef at the 2014 NYC Wine & Food Festival. Eichenberg will partake
in the festival's JETS + Chefs Ultimate Tailgate event taking place on Saturday,
October 18 12:00 to 3:00PM on the Esurance Rooftop at Pier 92. The event
will be hosted by Food Network Chef, Mario Batalli, and NFL Legend and Hall of
Famer, Joe Namath.
Eichenberg, along with 28 other chefs, will be creating
signature dishes inspired by football and tailgating. Sam is one of the only
pastry chefs asked to participate and will be incorporating traditional
tailgate food flavors such as bacon and beer into her already unique and
decadent desserts.
"I am so honored to have been asked to
participate, and was especially excited when I learned I'd be part of a NY
JETS event. Despite being from Ohio, I have been a JETS fan since I was a kid.
I'm so excited to contribute to such an awesome event."
