HONORING JOHN LILLIS, A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

John Lillis, A Man for all Seasons: The life of John Lillis, a long time parishioner of Holy Name of Mary, who died tragically in March of 2006, will be memorialized by his Cornerstone brothers and sisters in a ceremony taking place on Sunday, July 20, 2014 following the 10:45 Mass.

At that time, a plaque in his honor will be unveiled in the Garden of Peace. The plaque will be affixed to a lovely fountain graciously donated by Fr Brennan.

John was selfless in his charity to both his church and community. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him as he ceaselessly worked for all causes.

All are welcome to participate in honoring a man whose life personified Christ's teaching that we should "love God and love our neighbor." Please make it a point to be a part of this event and enjoy some light refreshments at its conclusion.

  1. Like the late Jim Moore, one of the greats. Our village can ill afford to lose men (or women) of this caliber. He is missed.
