JOURNAL NEWS 10/24/12—Link good for about two weeks-CITY MANAGER WON’T QUIT OVER PROSTITUTE IN CAR FLAP - Richard Herbek, a Briarcliff Manor resident and the former village manager of Croton-on-Hudson, is facing criticism as the city manager of Newburgh after it was disclosed a police patrol found him with a prostitute in his car last week. Herbek, who denied any wrongdoing, offered to resign his post on Sunday before he rescinded the resignation.
