PHOTOS FROM RIVER DAY 2012: THE CROTON YACHT CLUB, PART 1, CHRIS LETTS

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Despite strong winds and intermittent rain, HUDSON RIVER DAY 2012 at The Croton Yacht Club proceeded as scheduled. The chowder was great, the exhibits were wonderful, and real community outreach and fellowship were the order of the day.

Will be posting photos in the days ahead from this event. For now, meet Chris Letts. Chris is a leading authority on the river and its inhabitants--and one can always look forward to his entertaining and informative table. Click on the photos, all rights reserved, and stay tuned for more. (UPDATE: SEE PART 2 HERE http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2012/09/photos-from-river-day-2012-croton-yacht_8.html)

  1. I had to stop and make special note of the wonderful Chris Letts (hi Chris!) who spent a lot of time with my two nephews who were visiting from Brooklyn. Of course, a special thank you to the Croton Yacht Club, long may she serve the "privileged few".
