PHOTOS FROM RIVER DAY 2012, THE CROTON YACHT CLUB, PART 2: THE CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY EXHIBIT

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Despite strong winds and intermittent rain, HUDSON RIVER DAY 2012 at The Croton Yacht Club proceeded as scheduled. The chowder was great, the exhibits were wonderful, and real community outreach and fellowship were the order of the day.

We'll be posting photos in the days ahead.

We were delighted to see that The Croton Historical Society had an exhibit at today's event on the Osborn Boatworks, a fascinating chapter in the village's past. Click on the photos below, then click on the links to read an article on the Osborn Boatworks by the late Elise Sasso http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2011/08/another-great-article-from-croton.html
