#1 - SWIMMING WORLD EDITOR TELLS TRUTH ABOUT TRANSGENDER COMPETITION IN WOMEN'S SPORTS

The Huffington Post just reported that a transgender swimmer “continues to smash records” in women’s college swimming meets. The athlete, Lia Thomas, was quoted in the story saying, “Being trans has not affected my ability to do this sport and being able to continue is very rewarding.”

That’s what comes from being a sure thing. Thomas recently won a race by a whopping 38 seconds. The biological male athlete’s body has greater muscle mass than the women competing. It just isn’t fair contest. But stories like that in the HP continue to pretend that Thomas’s intrinsic biology doesn’t matter.

We live in irrational and cowardly times. Some truths cannot be safely stated plainly because the enemies of rationality will brand the truth-teller a hater, with potentially very deleterious consequences to the person’s career and reputation.

Missouri School District to Pay $4 Million to Transgender Student over Bathroom, Locker Room Policy By BRITTANY BERNSTEIN--December 15, 2021 2:42 PM--A Missouri school district will be forced to pay more than $4 million in damages to a transgender student after it did not allow the biologically female student to use the boys’ restrooms and locker rooms.  A jury ruled Monday that Blue Springs R-IV School District was liable for sex discrimination against the student, who had received a legal name change in 2010 and had received a new, amended birth certificate to reflect a new name and new gender in 2014. ON THIS DAY IN FILM AND TELEVISION HISTORY 1932 "The Mummy" directed by Karl Freund and starring Boris Karloff was released in the US.  It was the 1st Mummy horror film.

British actor Boris Karloff (1887-1969) was one of the true icons of the Horror cinema. He portrayed Frankenstein's monster in Frankenstein (1931), Bride of Frankenstein (1935), and Son of Frankenstein (1939), which resulted in his immense popularity. In the following decades he worked in countless Horror films, but also in other genres, both in Europe and Hollywood.
