Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship---in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
To the editor,
Below are images of temporary outdoor signs displayed in Croton last Sunday by teens remembering Charlie Kirk, whom they regarded as a hero. The school district refuses to publicly acknowledge or speak about his public assassination, or offer grief or trauma counseling, despite the fact that many local young people regularly followed Kirk and were deeply upset by having seen the actual video of his assassination take place. Very sad.
Regardless, these teens do care deeply about the issues around them and will make a difference by exercising the type of genuine critical thinking Kirk exemplified, and so it appears that his movement will continue.
Sincerely,
Jessica Dieckman
