MID-HUDSON NEWS--MID-HUDSON – The popularity of E-bikes and E-scooters has increased dramatically this year with more and more of the two-wheeled electric-powered vehicles being observed on area roads.  Cold Spring Police have reminded the public that in New York State, electric scooters and bicycles with electric assist (e-bikes) are legal to ride on roads with posted speed limits of 30 mph or less but cannot be ridden on sidewalks.
