--A reader is seeking "some military uniform paintings featured here (perhaps?) but can't remember the name of the artist".
RESPONSE--you probably mean the MILITARY ART OF H. CHARLES McBARRON, FROM THE ARCHIVES OF THE CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY; these were large very impressive prints as I recall, commissioned around the 1960's. You'll find the post HERE.

--A reader is seeking a recent article she saw on "Charlie Roberto from Teatown and the eagles".
RESPONSE: You MAY be referring to The Gazette Front Page Photo and article on Roberto from the 2025 Eaglefest. (Edition was for the week of Feb. 6 through 12, 2025). The paper does not have an online presence; copies can usually be found in the Croton Library or you may contact the paper's editor at thegazette.us@gmail.com

--A reader is trying to locate some photos she saw for some sort of "steampunk charity event" in the Upper Village many years ago....
RESPONSE: You can only be referring to CATWALK FOR CARING, 2011---and the closed TREASURES & TAILS store (formerly located in the building that used to be The Croton Steak House, as well as a number of other businesses through the years--and now is the site of State Farm Insurance.) You can find the photo album at 2ND ANNUAL CATWALK FOR CARING | Flickr

--A reader is seeking Knights of Columbus Santa Claus photos from, she believes 2013 or 2014, maybe 2012.
Response: Here is 2014 EverythingCroton: 12/21/14 - SANTA CLAUS VISITS HOLY NAME - COURTESY OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
And here is 2013 EverythingCroton: 2013 SANTA VISITS HOLY NAME, COURTESY OF THE KNIGHTS...
Sorry, don't have 2012. You should contact the Knights directly if this is not what you are looking for holynameofmary.org

--A reader asks: Did Pete Seeger visit Croton much in recent years?
RESPONSE: Well, your editor can't vouch for how often (there were the annual festivals of course until recently at Croton Point Park) but he did stop at the Croton Historical Society exhibit for THE MASSES in 2012; go to EverythingCroton: VERY SPECIAL VISITORS AT THE CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY'S EXHIBIT: PETE SEEGER & HIS WIFE TOSHI
