As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more. Click on the photos and links.
First up, a reader inherited her mother's "rose gold" German Christmas balls and has become obsessed with the color; she wondered if we have seen anything in this color wave for "large foil or paper fans".
Indeed we have---we have become big fans of a site called EFAVOR MART---check out their Gold & Rose Gold Paper Fan Party Kit while supplies last of course.
Next up, a fabulous 1926 advertisement for THE CHRISTMAS FAVORITE--BABY RUTH....note that the candy bars are used as decorations on the tree---from the days when BABY RUTH CANDY BARS were still relatively new and exciting!
It's followed by a rare find indeed--a 1949 Bugs Bunny Alarm clock by Ingraham USA. It was featured in a previous auction at Serioustoyz; his arms moves back and forth. This working clock sold for $82.80.
And finally, Bugs is followed by a fabulous shot of Cary Grant, 1940. Hubba hubba as they used to say.
In the world of Christmas enthusiasts, Grant will always be Dudley the Angel from THE BISHOP'S WIFE. Again, click on the photos and links.
