MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more....click on the photos and links.

Any time of year is perfect for a Whitman's Sampler ad! Yes indeed...The Woman Never Forgets The Man Who Remembers...from 1947, for Valentine's Day.

That's followed by a 1967 Christmas ad sliced in two for Decca Records. And finally the latest from Howard Lamey's TEN CENT CITY line of putz houses (all rights reserved); THE PURPLE SCALLOPED TOP PUTZ HOUSE---you'll find the pattern for the purple house by scrolling down the page when you click here.

For fans OF THE OLD TOY THEATRES, Paul Race of BIGINDOORTRAINS.COM passed along a link some years back---for those who don't know, these  were very popular in Victorian times.

Paul says: A delightful toy store in London is keeping the Victorian paper theatre tradition alive--Pollock's in Covent Garden.
