PHOTOS, KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FATHER'S DAY & ST. ANTHONY CELEBRATION

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton -- our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools -- in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Holy Name of Mary and The Knights of Columbus hosted their first Father's Day and St. Anthony of Padua Celebration today; festivities began with an old-fashioned procession down Grand Street ending at Vassalo Park, and followed by dinner inside.

A fantastic event--by the way the 2014 event will be on June 14th--click on the photos and stay tuned for more.

  2. I'm so happy that these processions are being brought back again. They are part of what makes life in a small place like ours interesting. Thanks so much for recording these events. I hope to see more of these in the years ahead. When thew procession passed the Croton Academy school which was having their own event and very busy, everyone stopped or smiled or applauded. This is life in Croton sometimes and we are all the better for it. Linda
