THE KOREAN WAR: CROTON'S VETS, PART 1

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton -- our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools -- in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

The Korean War is often known as The Forgotten War. But not here at EverythingCroton and certainly not at the Croton Historical Society where a very thorough archive awaits anyone with an interest in knowing more about those village residents who served. Here's Part 1 of The Korean War: Croton's Vets. Click on the photos.  Also included is an old black and white still from a private collector showing Bob Hope entertaining the troops at that time.

(See part 2 here http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-korean-war-crotons-vets-part-2.html)
