PART 3, MORE PHOTOS FROM THE 2013 ASBURY METHODIST ARTS & HEARTS CRAFTS FAIR

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

If you didn't attend Sunday's Arts and Hearts Valentine Craft Sale at Asbury Methodist Church, you missed out on seeing some wonderful local hand-crafted gifts--not to mention some awesome chocolate opportunities!  We're providing a full listing of all the vendors who were there and where applicable, we encourage you to visit their website and/or facebook pages. See all that and Part 1 here: http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2013/02/part-1-some-photos-from-2013-asbury.html

We met a very interesting crafting "family" at the fair..."Monay" and Mom...of MoNay's Closet - jewelry designs molded from laces and other bits--using the lost wax casting method--very delicate in appearance, the photo below does not do the execution justice--as well as these very cool silver/copper merged pieces--also at the table were these cute little bunnies that act like a modern day "security blanket" for the child whose mom has to work, run errands, etc.---with a little pocket for putting messages in on the backside--it gets left behind when Mom has to go. For more info, email monaycloset@gmail.com - click on the photos.

Stay tuned for more.

p.s. Marlene of Henna on Hudson, a regular at the Ajna Wellness Center artisan events, was there as well; Marlene is THE person to talk to about all things henna: see more here http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2013/02/from-213-ajna-artisan-fair-henna-on.html
