    A poster on another site complained snidely that these places were "some people's idea of revitalization".

    Yes, they are. Their generosity helps our schools, local sports and lots of other things. They may not be good enough for the people who wished they could afford the hoi-poloy towns, but they are the heart and soul of Croton even in bad economic times. Thank you Carmen and ALL the businesses who ignore the fools and write the check.
