PHOTOS FROM THE 2011 GOLDEN GLOW OF CHRISTMAS CONVENTION IN RYE

As many of you know, the Golden Glow of Christmas held their recent annual convention, this time on the East Coast--in Rye, New York. Not all of us could go, but we did have a correspondent there--Barbara H--who wrote a smashing "article" on the event. If you haven't read it, you should--vintage and antique Christmas collectors will be in heaven! CLICK HERE!

Barbara also took lots of photos and has generously shared them! Here's a link to a set at Flickr--with the promise of more to come. You are going to see some outstanding examples of Made in Japan Christmas putz and candy containers, etc. Click the link and stay tuned for more!  Here's some of the photo highlights, courtesy of Barbara H: http://www.flickr.com/photos/22283683@N07/sets/72157627212089499/

  1. Thank you so much Barbara. My fave so far is the putz with the little girl.

  2. What a glorious event this must have been. There's so much material for Ted's site in the photos we've seen already. Thanks Barbara. So want to see more so get cracking Everything Croton!

  3. I have to say how much we love these "vintage" holiday and for that matter anything "vintage" articles and slideshows at EverythingCroton. It's also nice to see I can feed my growing ephemera addiction at local places like Cornelia Cotton's and my vintage toy addiction at Serious Toyz. Great fun. Great site.
