S&P HITS RECORD ON STRONG JOBS REPORT, HEADS FOR 6TH STRAIGHT WINNING WEEK
U.S. equities rose on Friday following a better-than-expected April’s jobs report and as traders eyed developments between the U.S. and Iran. The S&P 500 was up 0.8%, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.6%. Both indexes hit new all-time intraday highs in the session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average hovered around the flatline.
