CONGRATULATIONS CROTON-HARMON STUDENT-ATHLETES, COLLEGE SIGNING DAY

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton-on-Hudson: our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship -- in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Congratulations to the Croton-Harmon student-athletes who were recognized at College Signing Day as they committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Dylan Winthal — Swim & Dive, Bowdoin College
Andrew Sur — Baseball, SUNY Maritime College
Max Fredman — Baseball, Manhattanville University
Nate Geberth — Baseball, Jefferson College

This milestone reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication, as well as the support of coaches, teachers, counselors, and families who helped them reach this moment.

Coach Rosen reminded students that this achievement is one few high school athletes attain.

“Less than 10 percent of high school student-athletes go on to compete at the collegiate level,” he said. “I wish I could say the hard work is over and you’ve made it, but the hard work has just begun.”
He expressed confidence that the lessons students learned through the Croton-Harmon athletic program will carry them through the opportunities and challenges ahead.

“I know you are prepared and ready for that challenge,” said Coach Rosen.

We are proud of all that our student-athletes have accomplished and look forward to cheering them on in this exciting next chapter. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. Photos at Facebook and Facebook and Facebook
