MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more.  Click on the photos and links.

First up, we're finding lots of fun stuff at STUMP'S PARTY SUPPLIES---like these peppermint accordion fans--but there are other options perfectly suitable for assorted holiday decor.  They have some unusual honeycomb decorations too that are very suitable for a more Victorian/turn of the century Christmas look---and tissue garland too; check it out here.

Next up, a fabulous 1926 advertisement for THE CHRISTMAS FAVORITE--BABY RUTH....note that the candy bars are used as decorations on the tree---from the days when BABY RUTH CANDY BARS were still relatively new and exciting!

It's followed by a rare find indeed--a 1949 Bugs Bunny Alarm clock by Ingraham USA. It was featured in a previous auction at Serioustoyz; his arms moves back and forth.   This working clock sold for $82.80.

And finally, Bugs is followed by a fabulous shot of Cary Grant, 1940. Hubba hubba as they used to say.

In the world of Christmas enthusiasts, Grant will always be Dudley the Angel from THE BISHOP'S WIFE.   Again, click on the photos and links.

A friend with a very small cottage wrote to tell me about a 7 foot slim tree she found that fit perfectly in her living room with minimal furniture moving; she highly recommends the  one from LTD Commodities--and it will supposedly be back in stock this year for those of you planning ahead.

The picture is currently offline so you should check back regularly.  She was shocked at how slim it was and yet still provided enough room and impact for her decorations and village.
