1931, THE 1ST BROADCAST OF "LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE"--AND NOW SOME HAROLD GRAY TOO, THE CROTON CONNECTION

On this day in 1931 the 1st broadcast of "Little Orphan Annie" on NBC-radio took place.

And did you know the creator of Little Orphan Annie---Harold Gray---lived right here in Croton?
