APRIL 1955: CHILDREN 2 START GETTING POLIO SHOTS, CROTON, MARCH OF DIMES, ETC.

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

A popular Everything Croton series has been the March of Dimes postings--and so when we came across this April 14, 1955 article on Polio vaccinations, we just had to post it. 2. I was part of the initial phase of this program....Dr. Salk. A great physician who profited very little from his great research in terms of $$$$.
