MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As many of you know, a number of early made in Japan putz houses had tiny figures--a Santa Claus for example, or a little girl--usually a slip bisque or clay of some sort—click on the photo, ALL ORIGINAL--and often these were lost over time. Some of us have taken to casting or carving our own replacements—(see Howard Lamey's efforts below) and others have been looking for “substitutes”.  Here’s what we’ve found so far:
-Penny Dolls, those tiny dolls that used to be sold in candystores may provide a viable alternative - Tom H tells us that these are ALMOST the right size http://www.redleadpaperworks.com/servlet/Detail?no=3809
