A reader growing up here in the 60's has very fond memories of her Christmas Club account and wondered if there was anything available about the practice in the archives.
Response---not from the 60's; but there is this ad from 1935; you might try the CHS for more.

A reader inherited a relative's "super modern" menorah' and a strange "free-form" type of paperweight; both are stamped CROTON ART CRAFTSMEN. Know anything about the company?
Response---this is the only ad we have ever been able to locate for the company; from 1952--for coincidentally, a menorah.....from American Judaism magazine. No real address here in Croton is shown.
Again the CHS might have more.

A reader recalls seeing some photos from the Croton Lions Christmas Tree Sale in 2010 and 2011 but can't locate them now. Can you help?
Response: We have 2011 as a mini Flickr album (click on the images when you get there) at 2011 LIONS TREE SALE | Flickr
BUT don't have anything for 2010; try the Lions directly at their email:

A reader remembers a very beautiful "inside the Church creche" at Holy Name of Mary "near the altar".
You can only mean this--their annual tradition:
Go to PHOTO ALBUM, INTERIOR NATIVITY, HOLY NAME OF MARY 2009-2011, may take a moment or two to load depending on your connection; hit refresh if the connection is slow INTERIOR NATIVITY HOLY NAME OF MARY | Flickr
