The Croton Lions Club will be holding their annual Christmas tree sale fundraiser, starting this Saturday, 11/29, at the usual place, across from ShopRite. Hours: Weekends from 9am to 5:30pm and during the week from 12 noon to 5:30 PM
.
We will have fresh premium Frazier Fir trees, at reasonable prices. Come and purchase your tree from the Croton Lions Club and support all the good work we do.

When you buy your tree from Croton Lions Club…..

It is food for the hungry families.

Scholarships for deserving students

Medical equipment loaner program for those in need.

It is funding for autistic children.

Yes, it is a tree that will be the centerpiece of your holiday, but it is so much more.

The Croton Lions Club is 100% volunteer organization that has been serving Croton on Hudson and the surrounding communities for the last 86 years.

We support other local charities including:

Harry Chapin Run Against Hunger, Croton Caring Committee, Croton Little League, Croton Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Croton Free Library, Caring for the Hungry and Homeless of Peekskill (CHHOP)

This is just some of what we do. Your purchase will help us do so much more.

As a teacher of twenty years, I have witnessed a steady shift away from reading for enjoyment and from holding real books and magazines in our hands. The research is clear: reading from paper is best. Comprehension, retention, and focus are stronger, and even our eyes benefit.
