Croton Point's Lost Colony--Date: Monday, January 26, 2026 AT 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm IN THE Municipal Building, Community Room---Every summer from 1926 until 1964, the Croton Point Park Association took up residence in their bungalow colony at Croton Point. They had a baseball team, a community center, weekly dances, and a flourishing newspaper, until the county quietly evicted them. Explore how this group lived, what life was like, and what happened after their houses were torn down. Jean Klurfeld, Asistant Curator at the Croton Point Nature Center will be speaking at this free event.
