MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Happy birthday to Tony L--collector of all things putz--and vintage elephants too! This super vintage die-cut birthday card is just for you!

We had a request from a reader for a putz church pattern that wouldn't send her to the madhouse--YES YES SOME OF US REALLY DO HATE CUTTING "ARCHED WINDOWS"!

Anyway...we think this one will do nicely! And we got it from the forums over at CARDBOARDCHRISTMAS.COM

So you can't afford a real Victorian "toy theatre" and want to try to make one yourself? Seems a daunting prospect but...check this out...perhaps there's a simpler version out there that will inspire our local putz artisans: http://www.ekduncan.com/

  2. Love the Victorian paper theaters. The opening from the most recent Nicholas Nickleby movie uses one but I didn't realize how widespread they were until we visited Pollocks, in Covent Garden, in the UK. LOTS of fun.
