Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our
history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short,
EVERYTHING CROTON.
FROM THE CROTON FRIENDS OF HISTORY FB PAGE - MARCH 2ND AT
THE CROTON FREE LIBRARY - To celebrate women's history month Cornelia
Cotton will tell the stories of 10 outstanding Croton women, starting with
Elizabeth Duncan, Isadora's sister, who directed the first school founded by
her sister in this country, and ending with Jessye Norman, world-famous singer.
In between we'll learn about a great poet, a wonderful sculptor, a glittering
film star, a brave suffragette, and other Croton women who made major
contributions to the world and to the reputation of our village—adding to its
lustre. SEE MORE HERE https://www.facebook.com/events/937913513012735/
