WAKE & FUNERAL SERVICES FOR HUGO IODICE

Courtesy of a family member: Hugo Iodice, Jr. of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at the age of 53.

Hugo was born on December 25, 1962, in the Bronx, NY. He is survived by his loving parents, Mary and Hugo, Sr.; his beloved wife, Martha (nee Taboada); his cherished sons, Max and Alex; his devoted sister, Mary Anne and brother-in-law Art and his adoring niece and goddaughter, Mary Anne; and his caring brother-in-laws Armando (pre-deceased by Maria) and Jose (Michelle). He also leaves behind many heartbroken aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and a wealth of friends and colleagues that he considered family.

Hugo was a neighborhood fixture with his mortgage business and his philanthropic involvement in many local communities both at home and in Croton-on-Hudson where his business endeavors were located. Everyone who knew and met him were immediately drawn in by his infectious smile and laughter. He was known to light up a room the moment he entered it and was as genuine a man as they come, always living his life with conviction and every day to its fullest. Everyone has a happy, funny, memorable "Hugo Story" to share and he left an indelible mark on every life he touched.

Services will be at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548, Thursday, March 10th from 2-5 and 7-9 and Friday, March 11th from 2-5 and 7-9.
