MORE EVERYTHING CROTON'S FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC.--& FROM OUR CHRISTMAS "TEST KITCHEN" TOO

We love all the "seasonal" scents and flavors that find their way into the aisles during the holiday season but let's be honest, some are far superior to others...of course, you can't go wrong with Christmas/Winter oreos--red creme, same great taste--but we were skeptical about the Pillsbury Peppermint frosting...a friend however, says WOW!  It is sublime on chocolate cupcakes. Click on the photos, both courtesy of Bryan a.k.a. THE CHESHIRE CAT.

This could potentially be a great crafting project if you could find snowflakes in graduated sizes http://www.save-on-crafts.com/glittertree.html

VERY good price on these paper mache unfinished houses—now to date, the lowest we have seen

P.S. We found the BEST Balsalm fir incense here in
town at FEED THE BIRDS (326 S. Riverside Ave.
862-4700). It's PAINE'S BALSAM FIR incense and they
have the little wooden smoker log cabins to go with it.
It would be equally at home, however, in one of the
German smokers by
