Update--THE VILLAGE HAS POSTED THE FOLLOWING ON THEIR FB PAGE--THERE WILL BE SKATING! Night skating under the lights will be available January 23-25 from 4 to 7 p.m. Conditions will be re-evaluated on Saturday.
Please always check for the Green Flag, which indicates the ice is safe for skating. A Red Flag indicates unsafe conditions.
Please note that skating is unsupervised, so for your safety and protection, never skate alone!

YEARS AGO, THE CROTON DINER SOLD HOT CHOCOLATE AND COFFEE AT THEIR FIRST DINER. A NICE TOUCH IN FRIGID WEATHER. I RECALL ICE BOATING AT HALF MOON BAY WHEN THE HUDSON FROZE OVER ALSO.
