We've recently come across some large die-cut advertisements from the 1880's to the early 1900's; the one pictured to the right was for H. O'Neill, an early department store. We hope to have them photographed and/or scanned soon.

Thank you so much for the instruction on how to weave a paper heart basket. I had forgotten that we used to do this with my grandmother and set about making dozens last night with left over red Christmas paper and snow glitter. I'll be hanging these from branches I have spraypainted white and glittered for my daughter's birthday which is Valentine's Day. This was a great inexpensive way to get a lot of bang for very little money, and let's face it, money is tight these days.
