Victims of Saturday’s violent Manhattan rampage recalled to The Post how a club-wielding stranger suddenly pounced on them while they were simply waiting for the subway or minding their own business on the street.

Some of the madman’s 10 victims included a food-delivery man who was beaten unconscious, a Fordham University freshman injured while trying to protect his girlfriend and a tourist from Texas whose hand was broken as he defended his wife and young daughters.

This video from above captures a bike gang’s “horrifying” attack on a yellow cab in the middle of Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, carried out shortly before another, even worse assault on a BMW a few blocks away. Dozens of pedal-pushing punks, believed to be in their teens, beset the vehicles around 4 p.m. Tuesday, starting with the cab at Fifth Avenue and 29th Street, according to cops and the video, posted to Twitter by attorney Teny Geragos. GERRY MARSDEN OF GERRY & THE PACEMAKERS HAS DIED

Gerry Marsden, singer for Gerry and the Pacemakers, dead at 78....Marsden died following a short battle with an infection in his heart, English broadcaster Pete Price revealed Sunday.

Price shared the news “with a very heavy heart” after speaking with Marsden’s family, he wrote in a tweet...read more here.

Tuesday’s caught-on-video attack on innocent motorists in Manhattan by a gang of young bicycle hoodlums was absolutely horrific — but all too typical of the kind of chaos and lawlessness that’s gripped the city. The brazen assault took place not in the dead of night, but at 4:30 in the afternoon — and smack dab in the middle of Manhattan, at Fifth Avenue and 21st Street.As Max Torgovnick and his mother, who is in her 70s, were innocently driving along, a pack of more than a dozen young bikers suddenly set upon their BMW, surrounded the car and pounded on it. After months of mollycoddling, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler vowed to get tough on Antifa, whose members engage in near-nightly campaigns of mayhem, violence and destruction in the city.

Who died this date in 2014....CNN: Singer Phil Everly -- one half of the groundbreaking, smooth-sounding, record-setting duo, the Everly Brothers has died, a hospital spokeswoman said. He was 74.
