How do we make sense of a world where bad things happen to good people? Over 25 hundred years ago, the author(s) of the Bible's Book of Job wrestled with this question, one that continues to resonate with artists and writers today. In this three-part online course, Temple Israel's Scholar-in-Residence Professor David Sperling and Rabbi Emerita Jennifer Jaech will explore major themes in the Book of Job, and popular culture expert Dan Theodore will bring some modern-day perspectives.
