Editor’s Note: The Croton Chronicle is generous to a fault. Late next month we will celebrate our two year anniversary of publishing news and views critically important to our local community. Our subscriber numbers have continued to grow steadily. During all that time, we have provided most of our content free of charge, in hopes that readers who understand the importance of defending and preserving local journalism—in Croton and elsewhere—will chip in and help support it.
