REMEMBERING HUGO IODICE
On the one year anniversary
(yesterday) of his death...recapping those old feelings: I first met Hugo ten plus years ago in
Croton's Upper Village over an Italian ice "imported" from The Bronx.
His keen insights into Croton's political scene--and on the art of being
"Italian" for lack of another way to put it--were often potmarked
with outrageously funny commentary worthy of a television special. He was
generous and kind and relished his role as a father to his two sons. He also
had a keen sense of community responsibility. An all around good guy, fondly
remembered...
