A TRIBUTE TO TED ALTHOF

As many of you know, Ted Althof (a.k.a. Papa Ted) passed away late last year; (http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2012/10/papa-ted-health-update.html). Considered by collectors to be the leading authority on Putz houses, his loss was keenly felt by friends, family and members of the collecting community.

 A Tribute to Ted has been posted:

    If I could get the hang of forums, I'd sign in over there to say thank you for such a loving tribute. Since I know Mr. Race checks in ofter here, please send the heartfelt thanks of the Peterson Family.

    I lost touch with Papated some years ago after a lively exchange of emails that were a mix of politics and Christmas putz villages. So sorry to learn now of his passing. Sincerely, Carl Francis Xantu
