Stopped by the Croton Historical Society this morning--where the volunteers were hard at work readying the latest edition of The Croton Historian for mailing (a perk that comes with membership) when we spotted some items on the 1929 dedication of Holy Name of Mary Church. Of course, we couldn't resist putting up a few scans from the dedication booklet; click on the photos. Enjoy!

Those priests look like they cracked some rulers over kunckles in their day! Great history!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is GREAT HISTORY and thanks for the info on the Lutheran Church. Someone just asked about its history and now I can send them the link. EVERYTHING CROTON AND THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY ROCKS. Tom B, former Crotonite in location, permanent Crotonite in my heart.
