SOME NEWSPAPER COVERAGE OF THE 1967 SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

In 2012, one of EverythingCroton’s most popular series was on CROTON’S SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL--and recently we were sent some newspaper clippings from 1973 and 1972 (we'll get 1972 on soon).

But today, while researching something entirely different at The Croton Historical Society, we came across these entries on the 1967 Shakespeare Festival in the newspaper archives--and took a few quick snaps for your enjoyment. Click on the photos (all rights reserved). With thanks as always to the historical society.
