The only thing that would make Croton little league games even more fun would be that old guy who used to show up with a Sabrett hot dog cart every now and then. Does anyone remember who he was?
ReplyDeleteHi Peter, in answer to your question, Doris says: The Hot Dog man was Larry Tyrone who lived on mt. Airy rd. Larry was the first hot dog vendor with his push cart in Croton I believe. The sabrett hot dogs were not even available in the markets at that time, only sold to vendors. Many of us would order a case from Larry to put into our freezers to enjoy in the off season. They were great. Thanks for the memory.
DeleteIncredible.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the 1968 Version. I was on it.!
