If you haven't yet visited the newly restored Paramount Theater in Peekskill, you're missing out on an opportunity to step back in time...when a night out at the movies was meant to entice all the senses.

Designed by George and Charles Rapp, architects for Netco Theatre Corporation, a subsidiary of Paramount Pictures, in 1929, it was completed in 1930 as a 1500 seat movie “palace”. Moving along...we saw Kenny Loggins in concert last night at the Paramount--and lots of Croton neighbors too. Loggins was nothing short of amazing; his voice remains clear, crisp, and energetic--time it seems, has only enhanced the sound. Lead guitarist Scott Bernard was incredible--and as soon as we get the name of the bassist/keyboard player--who was also fantastic--and if we can find it, we'll post it here. Both had vibrant vocals and Loggins chose well. The drummer, who we believe is a jazz drummer by trade from Long Island, was also excellent.
