RICHARD NAGLE RESIGNS, DIRECTOR OF CROTON'S EMS

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

We've just learned that Richard Nagle, Director of Croton's Emergency Management Service, has resigned his position effective 9/1/14. Mr. Nagle has been an outspoken critic of the Toughman's effects on public safety, traffic, etc. (http://bit.ly/1pb2fcF)

You can read about this and more in the 8/28/14 edition of THE GAZETTE, front page: Croton to okay 5-year agreement for Toughman triathlons

We wish Mr. Nagle every success in his future endeavors.

  1. In the Grand Duchy of Croton it's off with your head if you disagree with Croton's royalty.

  2. Lost a good man here and for what? What a shame. As a good friend of mine always says, the prophet is without honor in their own country.

  3. We'll be getting out of town on Saturday and not coming back until late Sunday. This is a perfect excuse for me to visit family. I'll be less aggravated there than I would be here!

    Good luck Mr. Nagle.

  4. I still have to go to work in Tarrytown. Hello again, Mt. Kisco. How many of us have to point out that the Emporer has no clothes before people start to notice?

    1. No idea. The area is manned by volunteer boaters/kayakers. You can address your questions directly to the FD.
