RESPONSE TO 6/17 GOUVEIA DOCUMENTS FREEDOM OF INFO REQUEST

A response, but no documents have been received, regarding the Gouveia property deal; see below:

Today's email from the foil officer: "The review process is taking longer than anticipated. I will have the documents for you before the end of the day on Thursday, July 17". 

With that in mind, please take a look at what Croton United's Joel Gingold has to say in response to the Mayor's Open Letter to Croton Residents regarding the proposed Gouveia acquisition: 

To the Editor,
Once again, under a hail of FOIL requests, our “full time” mayor has been caught cutting corners and, likely, violating the Village Code, prompting his lengthy justification of his actions regarding Something Good in the World (SGW). I am not a lawyer, but many of the actions the mayor described appear to me improper, if not outright illegal.
