The 7/28 work session audio is now online; Levitt and Gallelli absent; Slippen says they will be transparent in so many words, on Gouveia, from now on(!); Something Good is now on the site however.
Mayor Wiegman refused to address his and trustee Gallelli's foil scandal when questioned by residents. Still seeks to form a "committee" to "explore" what to do with property even though he and Gallelli withheld information from the public, the other trustees, and already aided Something Good's presence on the property. Trustee Davis unhappy with what the mayor and Gallelli did. Mayor shuts down any further discussion. See the documents and deception here, as well as Joe Gingold's 7/24 letter below:
To the Editor: At last week’s Village Board meeting, I
thought I saw flames shooting up from Trustee Ann Gallelli’s chair as,
with a straight face, she told us that she had no knowledge of
what Something Good in the World (SGW) was doing on the Gouveia property
and what SGW’s plans were. Now, in response to a FOIL request, we have a
70-page file of e-mails that Barbara Sarbin, Director of SGW sent to
Mayor Wiegman and Ms. Gallelli over the past year, and they directly
contradict many of Ms. Gallelli’s statements. And, guess who compiled
the file? None other than our “full time” mayor. So we can’t even be
sure that the file is complete. READ THE REST HERE https://www.facebook.com/notes/croton-united/croton-united-member-joel-gingolds-letter-to-the-editor-july-24-2014/327495467407491
