LOHUD 3/5/15: The battle to build affordable housing in the hometown of Bill and
Hillary Clinton and Gov. Andrew Cuomo has intensified, with New Castle
asking a developer to scrap its plan for 28 units in downtown Chappaqua,
and start afresh with an entirely new project.
HIGHLIGHTS:
-New Castle says any special use permit in New Castle is only good for 18 months
-The town has demanded that Conifer seek an extension
-Conifer refused, and obtained a court order to stop the town from acting.
