Croton United has championed the cause of transparency in village
government since its formation, and during the November election last
year, ran on a platform that advocated for numerous open government
reforms, including video recording and broadcasting of Village Board work sessions.
Croton United consistently rejected the board’s vague and facile
excuses for its failure to videotape these meetings and has continued to
advocate for open government reforms, as recently as the March 16, 2015
village board meeting, when the issue of video recording of work
sessions was once again put before the board, which refused to even

I watched the meeting in which they just clammed up on this issue. Now all of a sudden they're talking about how wonderful they are because they're doing it like they were always on board. Yuck.
